How long will i need to recover after a chondrioplasty? how long should i expect to take time off of work for my recovery after a chondrioplasty?

Recovery : A chondroplasty is shaving of the bone. Patients should normally recover within 3 weeks. It all depends on the grade of your knee cartilage. Ask your orthopedic surgeon what grade you have in your knee. You will recover faster if you participate in a formal physical therapy program.
