This : This means your gums are inflammed from either periodontal problems of from an abscessed tooth. That is my best estimate based on your description, without examining you. You need to make an appointment with a dentist to determine your problems and have treatment rendered.

Difficult : Difficult to tell with out an examination. Gum disease does not have such a quick onset and move around specific areas of the mouth as you describe. It may be more related to the activities you are engaging in or possibly things you have put into your mouth. You need to see a general dentist or an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for an evaluation.
