Fever and tonsils: Please have someone take you to the nearest Emergency facility. You will be carefully examined and most likely the team will prescribe appropriate medication. If they have some concerns they will refer you to the appropriate doctor.

Swelling: Probably viral, but the swelling of your oral tissues are of concern. Can created compromised airway. See someone now, your GP, Urgent Care, or ER. Do not wait. once your infection is under control you will need to see your Dentist for a thorough oral examination and appropriate treatment.
