Hello. : Hello. The information presented is suggestive that you may have ascites which is a buildup of fluid between the abdominal lining and the organs in the abdomen. Sometimes people who have a history of hepatitis c or heavy alcohol use can develop cirrhosis and ascites. This may have been why two of the doctors suggested having fluid removed from the area. It this were the case, might anticipate some possible abnormal liver enzymes. Since, i don't know your definitive diagnosis, i can't advise what type of doctor to see.

What is your ?: You don't get to what you are asking about this. Accumulation of abdominal fat is partly due to diet, and partly due to a genetic predisposition to metabolic syndrome, where excess fat is stored mostly in the gut, in what is called the greater omentum, a large fatty mass that encircles the intestines. The answer is still diet and exercise, cutting down on carbs (esp beer), crunches etc.
