39 weeks today stomach is hard on top, what is it? i can feel baby moving around my belly button. on my last appointment doctor said she could feel babys head does that mean baby has dropped?

Contractions?: You may be having contractions, if your stomach is hard at times. If the doctor felt the baby's head, it does not mean that it dropped, necessarily. It does mean that the baby has a head, which is very good, of course! If you have increasing contractions, or the baby moves less than normal, or bleeding, call your doc right away!

Follow up visit : these are all great questions but they will need to be directed to the doctor caring for you. They can do an exam and determine what position the baby is in. You can show them what you are feeling and they can make sure all is normal
