Though : Though you have provided minimal information and I do not have the benifit of an examination, it sounds like your problem is muscle related. You should seek a consultation with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for a full evaluation. In the mean time try the following: 1. Motrin or advil (ibuprofen) per label instructions 2. Soft diet 3. Restrict mouth opening 4. Moist heat to affected area.
