What can be used for pain for degenerative disc disease, other than narcotics which i am hooked on through my dr? i have only major organs in my body i have had 2 heart attacks, i have had yeast infestion in my throat twice. the 1st time was after throat

I : I would look for a pain doctor to optimize your pain medications which may include narcotic medications. Steroid injections and spine surgery may be other options you may discuss with the pain doctor and a spine surgeon. Good luck!

Disc disease: There are other medication or procedures which can help with your degenerative disc disease. You need to address the chronic use of narcotics first, then your doctor can suggest an alternative for the treatment of your disc disease.
