How much internet per day is too much for a 10yo?

Over 2 hours: I consider more than 2 hrs of :non-school internet + television, excessive and likely to lead to weight gain, school problems & socialization issues. Pre-teens and teens should do their work on a computer in a family area, not their bedroom. This allows for more parent supervision and interaction. That body will not be stong enough to handle a long life span if it develops in a chair.

1 hour: Limit screen time to 1 hour of computer time if you can. There really isnt much need to be on the internet much more than that anyways and anything a 10 year old is doing on the internet more that 1 hour per day is likely not a great situation for them. 2 hours total of screen time with tv, computers and games. But 1 hour is even better and more is unneeded anyways.
