Is it normal to have diarrhea everyday? hi i wanted to know if it is normal to have diarrhea everyday and what i can do to make it stop. also, i wanted to know if i should see a doctor about it. would you know what my problem is? please respond

Hello. : Hello. No it is not normal to have diarrhea everyday. Fluids are normally reasborbed from the feces by the colon as the stool makes it's way through the large intestine. However, if the feces moves too quickly, than the fluid is not reabsorbed and this results in liquid stool. There can be many different causes. I do recommend that you see a doctor if this is a chronic problem to determine the cause. Once the reason is determined the doctor can tell you things to help resolve it. Take care.
