This : This occurs because your stomach produces excess acid in response to certain foods. This can cause pain, bloating, and a burning feeling in stomach, chest, and esophagus. Associated belching and even vomiting can occur. The vomiting is your bodies way of trying to clear the excess acid when it backs up into the throat. On the other hand, there are other issues that could be going on (hiatal hernia, esophagitis, etc.) it is a good idea to request an endoscopy, which is a test where a camera is used to visualize your upper GI (gastrointestinal tract). This will give your doctors more information in able to formulate an appropriate treatment plan. All the best to you.
