Ovarian : Ovarian cysts can be very painful. They often come at midcycle then resolve. Once a cyst has been identified, it should be periodically re-checked until it resolves. If a patient has increased pain, is pregnant, has vomiting, or fever then they should be seen by their doctor as soon as possible. There are no-cost and low-cost clinics that can follow a cyst if it is not an emergency. Planned parenthood and other clinics can follow cysts or give recommendations for where patients can obtain follow-up ultrasounds.
