This : This may be suggestive of a thyroglossal duct cyst , particularly if there has been a history of fluctuating size, isolated midline or near midline structure, and elevates with swallowing. An ultrasound or ct scan of the neck is often helpful if this is suspected. A more thorough history and physical exam is always a good starting point.
