Is it possible to get cervicitis after a hysterectomy? i went to the er today for severe abdominal pain and this is what the diagnosed me with!

Sometimes : Sometimes with a hysterectomy the cervix is removed completely. Sometimes some of the cervical cuff is left. So this is feasible.

Does not add up: While cervix may not have been removed completely, cervicitis is not a usual cause of abdominal pain. It would be prudent to see your doctor, probably a gynecologist. Wish you good health.
