These : These two compounds are interchangeable but their potency is different: because of its more refined chemical composition and reduced protein binding, Lexapro (escitalopram) is considered to be approximately 4 times more potent than celexa. This means that 15 mg of Lexapro (escitalopram) is equivalent to approximately 60 mg of celexa. It appears then, that your Celexa dosage, which is 10 mg, may be low enough to cause some withdrawal symptoms. While this may not necessarily happen, a good strategy for you could be to contact your doctor and discuss your concerns as well as your previous experiences.

Share with Dr: I agree with your doctor, I would expect you to transfer over with about the same dosage effect. work on getting regular exercise, regular sleep, connect with friends , spend some time in nature , eat a HEALTHY diet, regular mindfulness or meditation and some yoga would be helpful as well seeing a counselor regularly and or journaling with your worries and work a gratefulness .
