A : A mass inside the brain or the skull can be monitored by MRI to look for changes that could cause problems. Symptoms depend on where the mass is. Vision problems could be caused by mass effect on the optic nerves (the nerves that see), the nerves that help move the eyes, or parts of the brain involved in vision. Nosebleeds would be an uncommon symptom of a mass inside the brain or skull. Even if nosebleeds and vision problems are not related to a mass inside the brain or skull, they are important problems and should be brought to the attention of a doctor.

As : As dr krob said the growth, or lack of growth, of some masses inside the head can be carefully monitored by MRI and those that don't grow and don't threaten any important functions can be just watched and not removed. You have not told us how old you are, or where the mass is. Most of the time, the kind of mass that is just watched is located inside the head but on the surface, outside of the brain, pushing (perhaps) on the brain's surface. These are usually the type of tumor called "meningioma", are usually benign, and some calcify so much that they don't grow at all, particularly in older individuals. Other things that might just be watched are non-tumor cysts, such as "arachnoid cysts". Only your doctors, knowing where the mass is, can tell if it relates to your visual problems and nose bleeds.
