If : If you have normal periods i would not be concerned about hormonal imbalance. However if your periods are irregular then you could be dealing with this issue. At this point, i don't think you need an endocrinologist. If birth control managed your symptoms previously then this is worth another try. There are usually many low cost or free clinics that provide birth control. Lastly, get a yearly physical with a primary care provider when you are able to do so and that provider will guide you through this situation. All the best.

Didnt finish ?: And i assume that you were going to talk about fluctuation with your period. However, a dermatologist would be the best person to see about severe or scarring acne, and they will be familiar with the endocrine issues and can recommend oral contraceptives or some other means to regulate your cycles if necessary to help your acne, or give you a referral.
