Both conditions can: Be found simultaneously as they are not that uncommon, fibromyalgia and scoliosis. They are also unrelated. In terms of symptom presentation, fibromyalgia and md are totally different.

Not likely here: Md can cause scoliosis but scoliosis is not diagnostic of md. Fibromyalgia is very misunderstood and involves widespread "four quadrant" pain sleep disorders and occasionally other things like irritable bowel you could have that but haven't listed those other things. Keep talking to your doctor and asking questions.

Scoliosis Common: My clinical finding is scoliosis common in fibromyalgia (fm), but is functional & related to upright posture; not organic (fixed). Observed by using fingers to trace spine upright & then prone. Explanation: pelvis is commonly unbalanced & unstable in fm & flexible spine assumes a curve when upright due to gravity & wisdom of body to keep center of gravity medial & not off center of body mass.
