The : The amount of bruising is variably after this type of procedure (depending a lot on how it is done). You can use concealer (or clothing) to cover bruising if you have it. You should ask your surgeon when it's okay to use makeup over the incision lines. Avoiding blood thinning products (ibuprofen, aspirin, various herbals, etc) will help minimize the chances of bruising as well. Your surgeon should be able to tell you what medications to avoid.

Besides : Besides careful surgery, there are many things the patient can do to prevent bruising in a neck lift. In other word, a well prepared patient should not bruise at all or very little. Good luck from nyc. For more info visit www.Drgrossman.Com.

Neck Lift Bruising: Depending on the depth and extent of bruising it can take a few weeks or even more to disappear. A history of easy bruising, high blood pressure, post op nausea and vomiting, and taking supplements, nsaid;s and certain antioxidants will make bruising more likely, arnica pills and topical gel might help as well as camouflage makeup. Most of my patients have little or no bruising to speak of.

Bruised Necklift : Yes necklift can cause significant bruising but it can all be hidden with dermablend that is available at macy's. Usually after the first week you can cover up and go out.

If done well: With tumescent anesthesia, bruising is usually pretty limited and can be covered within a week easily in most cases.
