Injuries : Injuries to the brain can produce a permanent scar. Sometimes a scar is big enough to be seen on an MRI or ct. The possibility of complications, and the type of complications, arising from a brain injury depend on the size and location of the injury and other factors. Potential complications could include loss of function of a limb, impairment of a special sense (like vision), impairment of intellect or ability, seizures, and other problems. Sometimes scars cause no perceptible problems.
