The fact that you have an iud gives you less than a 3% chance of getting pregnant after having sex. Also note that while an iud is in place, ectopic pregnancy is a concern. As far as getting a period twice a month, are you saying this happened once, or your cycle is every 14 days? Regardless, you can still get pregnant under these circumstances.
