Hello. : Hello. One possibility is that the eustachian tube (which can release pressure and drain fluid into the throat) has clamped down. If you have fluid in your middle ear, it might cause some of those symptoms. You might have a middle ear infection. You can try oral decongestants or a nasal spray.

Important : Important information to know is this unilateral, bilateral, or both? How long has it been present and is it worsening with time? Have you had a recent cold, suffering from allergies? Any pain in the ear, drainage, ringing, or vertigo? Any nasal obstruction on the side(s) of the ear complaint?What makes it better or worse? You say it isn't wax....Has someone looked in your ear to tell you that? I wish i could give you a better answer but before recommending treatment i would want a diagnosis. This probably will require anwers to these questions, examining your ears, and obtaining an audiogram if the answer isn't apparent as a starting point.
