Different : Different possibilities causing long-term abdominal pain after an injury include muscle pain, rib pain, or nerve pain. I am glad you have been seen by a physician and in the er. You have probably tried advil and tylenol (acetaminophen) for your pain. You could try a topical pain patch such as lidoderm, which is by prescription. You could consider massage therapy, further chiropractic therapy, acupuncture, or physical therapy as well which may be beneficial.
