It : It is very difficult to say what type of rash this is without actually seeing it myself. Also I am not sure what you are referring to when you state "diabetic rash". A common cause of rash in diabetics are fungal infections. In addition a dark rash usually found on the neck and under the arms in diabetics is called acanthosis nigricans, this is due to Insulin resistance. If the rash is itchy then consider trying over the counter Clotrimazole cream twice a day. Otherwise follow up with your doctor. Best of luck.

Many possibilities: There are many things that could cause a skin rash. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, sun exposure, insect bites, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
