Chicken : Chicken pox is pretty miserable - I am so sorry your little one has it! if your child is inconsolably crying, then you should contact his doctor. His doctor may want to examine him to make sure he doesn't have chicken pox involvement of his eyes, ears, or other more concerning and painful areas. Having him seen sooner rather than later is the safest way to go since he can't tell you what hurts. Good luck!

Avoid oil: The rash on the eyelid is near the eye- please see a Pediatric urgent care center for management. Avoid rubbing the skin with oil, monitor, treat fever and watch for any difficulty breathing.
