Could be from corneal abrasion. Have him examined at ER or at urgent care for timely diagnosis and treatment.

Rinsing the eye with saline may help to remove a foreign body or substance. An eye exam is recommended. Watch for signs of redness and discharge. Note any change in vision. Please follow up with your Pediatrician.
