The : The septoplasty incision is usually hidden inside the nostril such that it isn't visible. In some instances an open septo-rhinoplasty approach is needed to straighten the septum. A : A septoplasty is done inside the nose unless there a need to do a rhinoplasty at the same time. Even a septorhinoplasty scar across the columella is barely visible so i don't think you have to worry about a scar. Best wishes dr. Peterson.

Septoplasty: There are several approaches to septoplasty. For the most part the incisions are intranasal. Have your nose evaluated by a board certified otolaryngologist.
