Hello. : Hello. Don't know if you follow your blood sugars or not. Recommend that you be evaluated by your physician to determine the cause of this weight loss. This does not sound normal and is important to determine the etiology.

You'll : You'll need to be more specific regarding "having urine problems". Given that you're diabetic, poorly controlled diabetes can explain unintentional weight loss accompanied by excessive urination (polyuria) and thirst (polydipsia). I'm also concerned about an overactive thyroid, infection (tb & HIV ranks high up there but so can tape worms and other intestinal bugs, especially if you've traveled to foreign countries), and cancer (sorry but you asked). Also gut disorders (besides intestinal infection) such as inflammatory bowel and celiac disease can cause unexplained weight loss. My point is this: there's nothing you can do online to figure this out & fix it (although eating right, exercising regularly, and taking your medications as directed would be a giant step in the right direction). Assuming you haven't changed your eating & exercise habits, it's time to go see your family physician to get checked out. That's why we're here - to care for you. So give us a chance to do our job. Good luck!

A : A medical evaluation is in order here. You could be dealing with a thyroid issue, diabetes, malignancy, infectious process, etc.. It is very hard to say without a complete history and physical. Please see your primary care provider. Best of luck.
