Numbness : Numbness after an injury can be caused by "neuropraxia", which is from irritation to the nerve from the trauma, or by a nerve injury. Neuropraxia will typically resolve on its own. If a patient had persistent symptoms, pain, or other complaints, then they should seek out a medical evaluation.
