Scabies : Scabies is extremely contagious. What you're seeing as a rash is actually your body's reaction to the mites burrowing under your skin, not the mites themselves. So there is really no telling where the little guys are. You must see a dermatologist and get a cream that, for the most part, will kill all the mites in one treatment (usually), but you must also have anyone you live with or are in close contact with (i.e., your sex partner) and they must be treated as well. You should also wash your bedsheets and clothes in hot water and dry them in a drier. You should know that scabies is not anything you get because you're unclean. It's not a hygiene problem, and it knows no class. Rich, poor, democrats and even republicans get scabies. But you'll never get rid of them without seeing a dermatologist. And getting rid of them is very fast & "mity" easy. Here is a link about the little critters. Good luck.
