Removal : Removal of the uterus does not prevent pleasure from sex. However, if your ovaries are removed you may have less vaginal secretions and there could be some thining of vaginal tissues. If you did experience vaginal dryness, there are hormonal creams that can be helpful or vaginal lubricants. Some women who have had removal of ovaries do experience a decrease in sex drive (libido) but that is not due to a loss of sensation. There are many women who feel sexual freedom because they are no longer worried about becoming pregnant each time they have intercourse. Take care.
