I had a hysterectomy 10/12 and was released to have intercourse 12/7. i tried it and bled. what does this mean. it was light and bright and she told me to stop if it happened but i wanted to know should i be overly concerned? or just too soon?

The wound at the top of the vagina may not have healed fully. You can delay sex. You may try using a liberal amount of a water based lubricant like K Y jelly to reduce the trauma of sex. If bleeding recurs in a week or so, it would be prudent to see your doctor for an examination.
