Where : Where fat transfer surgery is done depends on the volume of fat being harvested/grafted. Fat transfer can be done in the office with just local anesthesia if it involves small volumes (or touchups). It's more typical to have the procedure done with additional anesthesia/sedation in an accredited surgery center/surgery suite. You don't necessarily need to have it done in a hospital as the surgery is normally done as an outpatient.

Fat : Fat transfer can actually be performed in an office setting if it is a mall amount but typically performed in a same day surgery center or hospital. Dr. Edwards.

Fat : Fat transfer should as a rule be done in accredited setting, such as a plastic surgeon's center (clinic) or a hospital. On a very small scale fat transfers can be done in a regular office. Good luck from nyc. For more info visit www.Drgrossman.Com.
