My 8 year old has just about evdry sign and symptom of delirium. hes had a low grade fever for oved 5 days now. and matchss about 80% of the causes of delirium. its friday night doc office is closed. should i wait it out or go to childrens hospital?

Delerium: With this symptom i usually suspect high fever, metabolic disorder, drug exposure or toxin, meningitis or encephalitis. If your child is fading in & out of coherent thought, i would have him seen now.

Hospital now: Delirium in an 8 year old is abnormal. Get him or her in to the hospital please. Whenever there is any doubt, there is no doubt (err on the side of getting help).
