Possibly.: Every plastic surgeons practice is different; best to check with your own for precise answer. In my practice, patients will use a surgical bra with a light dressing after breast implant removal. Sometimes, if more work is involved ( such as removal of breast implant capsules) drains are used as well. Best wishes.

Depends on surgeon: The need for garments and drains will depend on the extent of removal and surgeon's preference as well as intraoperative findings such as rupture, extra capsular silicone spread, and bleeding or anticipated drainage. Typically compression in some form is commonly recommended for abut 3 weeks with activity restrictions and may involve as little as a jog bra. Discuss this with your surgeon.L.

Surgical bra: In our practice, we use a surgical bra with some gauze dressings over the incisions, for the first week. Then you can switch to your own sports bra. If capsule removal was done at the time of surgery, you'll have a drain for a few days, as well.
