It : It is not clear to me what the cause of your symptoms are. Hot flashes are commonly associated with menopause, but it is not clear to me if you are having other menopause symptoms. The other concern is your blood pressure. Possibly you haven't yet adjusted to your new medication, or possibly your blood pressure is not out of control. Please see your primary care provider and discuss these symptoms. Have your blood pressure rechecked. You could also take an oral medication such as zofran (ondansetron) to help with the nausea for the car rides.

Hot flash: This sounds like two issues. Hot flashes are usually hormonally induced by declining levels of estrogen. Not directly related to blood pressure issues. Nausea is possible and can be exacerbated by movement. Beta blockers(metoprolol) might be of some help for both things. Get your magnesium level checked. Low levels could be part of your problem.
