I : I assume someone has told you that you have a growth plate that may be scarred. What cold happen is that the bone with the scarred growth plate does not grow as quickly, in the proper direction or as long as it should if the growth plate were normal. What occurs due to that depends upon, the extent of the difference, what part of the body is affected and at what age it occurs relative to the end of normal skeletal growth for that particular bone.
