To : To put your mind at rest, please see your physician and have a complete medical evaluation. It is most likely stress but since you are having recurrent symptoms, having an examination is the safest thing to do. Be sure you are eating healthy, getting plenty of sleep, and avoid caffeine and alcohol if you aren't already doing those things.

Hello. : Hello. I don't know the cause of your symptoms. Stress related anxiety can lead to lack of appetite, finding it hard to fall alseep, a knot like feeling in the throat or stomach and feeling on edge. Panic attacks are usually discrete episodes that last ten minutes or less and are associated with extreme feelings of panic. There can be a pounding or rapid heart rate with chest tension or pain and air hunger. Breathing may be more rapid. Nausea, numbness, tingling, lightheadedness and shaking can also occur. I recommend that you start with some deep breathing exercises. Breath in deeply through the nose and you can raise your arms slowly up to increase the amount you fill your lungs. Hold your breath to a five count and slowly exhale. Do this ten or twelve times to help break the anxiety. There are free aps or low cost aps you can down-load that have soothing music and sounds and are accompanied by directions for deep breathing activities or progressive muscle relaxation. Take care.
