Need root canal. how long can it wait? i was given antibiotics for infection. no money- can i wait a month to get the root canal?

You : You should try to get the rct as soon as possible. The antibiotic may control your current infection for a short time but unless the rct is done, the infection/pain will come back. Often it will come back even more painful or infected.

The source of the infection still exists and you should seek treatment for that as soon as possible. The symptoms from the infection will return if the they remain untreated so should get the tooth root canal treated as soon as possible.
