No, : No, pain with breathing (dyspnea) is not a common problem with fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia patients can certainly get diffuse muscle pain however. If you are having chest pain that is worse with deep breathing, you need to see your doctor. If you develop fever, worsening pain, productive cough, or new symptoms then you need to go to the er.
