When : When you are pregnant, any symptom such as this must be taken very seriously. Different conditions can arise during pregnancy including infection, fluid on the lungs, or reactive airways. Please see your doctor immediately for a complete evaluation, particularly as your symptoms have lasted two weeks and aren't improved with normal treatment. If you have worsening cough, any shortness of breath, chest pain, fever, productive cough, or any other new symptoms then you must be seen in the er.
