You : You may be reading too much into the color of the stool. The dark green color may have been from something you ate or from a vitamin or medication you ingested. You did not mention if you are under the care of a gastroenterologist, or what studies or medications have been tried. Therefore, my first thought is for you to see your doctor right away for the worsening pain. You will need an endoscopy and colonoscopy if not already done. If you are not on probiotics, that would be a good place to start; in addition daily MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) to help with the constipation. Also considering seing a nutritionist for a diet plan that will help decrease gas and promote regular bowel movements. All the best.

I'm : I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with constipation. If you haven't seen a physician about this problem, it's time you did so. Constipation can stem from a variety of issues, including irritable bowel syndrome (ibs), hypothyroidism, lack of physical activity, poor diet (inadequate fluid and/or fiber), medications, diverticulosis, or masses in the colon. The appearance of greenish stool doesn't indicate anything specific, but it could be a sign of blood in your stool. Again, this highlights the need for a medical evaluation. I've attached a mayo clinic link that provides more information about constipation. However, this information won't eliminate the need for a visit with your doctor. Good luck! http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/constipation/ds00063.
