I : I hope that by the time you read this you have been seen by a doctor or have gone to the er. It sounds like you are having an allrgic reaction to whatever stung you. You should see an allergist as well to determine if you may need testing and should definitely be carrying an epi-pen.

Possible anaphylaxis: The fact that the sting triggered wheezing suggest that this could be a systemic reaction (anaphylaxis). Swelling and redness at the site of a sting are common, and by themselves would not be serious. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and ice may help with the local reaction. If wheezing persists, you should contact your physician.
