It : It is hard for me to know what that area could be, but I do think it should be evaluated, especially as it sounds like you have a complicated medical history. An area of pain and burning on your neck that is dark in color should be evaluated by a physician. If you have pain, fever, any weakness or numbness, then you would need to be seen as an emergency.
