Can i have my teeth filed down? my two front teeth are longer than any other teeth. i'd like them to be filed down to match the other teeth. can i have this done by a dentist?

Possibly, : Possibly, so long as the resulting "filed down" teeth do not compromise the function of your bite. This is very important to have a dentist determine prior to indiscriminantly filing them down(!). Rk faber, dds 949-493-3376.

Yes: However the central incisors are longer than the lateral incisors in most people. I do not recommend excessive grinding. Some grinding for moderate discrepancies is ok. Sometimes orthodontics is the answer. Have you dentist eval what is best for you!
