Contact : Contact lenses do not permanently change the shape or structure of the eye since they merely float on the tear film of the cornea thus it is not possible to change or remove a corneal scar with them. A surgical procedure would be needed to do that.

Yes: A rigid gas permeable lens (rgp) may be able to significantly help your vision by addressing the irregular astigmatism from the scar. However, if the scar is physically blocking your pupil, and therefore your vision, it may not be effective. Then you may need laser surgery or a corneal transplant.
