The : The skin sutures are usually removed about 1 week after neck lift surgery. There may be some variability among surgeons in the exact timing though. This process doesn't require any numbing medication injection and is just done in a few minutes in the office.

There : There are several ways to deal with "turkey neck" or a "waddle"... What is termed submental laxity or platysmal banding and ptosis. These can range from submental liposuction and suspension to face lift and submental platysmaplasty depending on how severe the turkey neck actually is. The sutures for these procedures come out in 3-5 days but you are usually required to wear some tape and possibly a garment for support....Again, depending on the severity of the condition... I hope this helps -bwc.
