Neck : Neck pain and arm tingling is common from a pinched nerve. Nerves can be pinched by disk herniation ("slipped disk") or bone spurs causing stenosis (tightness). If it is not getting better i would recommend workup by your primary care physician, pain doctor or spine surgeon. Treatment depends on the cause. The usual initial treatment for neck and arm tingling is physical therapy. Good luck!

Time: This is probably a pinched nerve. It could be occuring anywhere from your shouder to your neck. The treatment would consist of nsaids, heating pads, and light stretching. It will take time to heal as these muscles never get to relax. If the pain becomes too much, or if you notice muscle weakness or significant numbness you should consider a spine surgeon to evaluate your neck.
