Pinched nerve : Tingling and numbness in the upper extremities is usually caused by pinched or compressed nerve as in pinched nerve in the neck, carpal tunnel syndrome and other conditions. Its more concerning when an MRI proven pinched nerve in the neck does this to both arms. This would need further investigation with nerve studies and a timely consultation with a spine surgeon.
