Regarding tuberculosis my daughter recently moved into a college dorm and her roommate has tb but is medicated. is she at harm?

People : People with tuberculosis who have been on medication for at least 2 weeks are no longer contagious. If your daughter met her roommate after this time frame, as long as the roommate continues therapy for as long as instructed by her doctor, your daughter will be fine. If she was exposed to her roommate prior to the roommate's diagnosis and treatment, your daughter should have a PPD test placed by her doctor to assess her infection risk.
