Although : Although panic attacks start most often in adulthood, they can begin in childhood. I do not know if you experienced a panic attack by your description. If this occurs again, please let your parents know so that they can have you evaluated by your doctor.

It can be: Anxiety disorders and panic do seem to become more common in children 10 - 14 years of age. This can be the start of an anxiety disorder or could just be a single event. If the panic persists or increases, see your physiain immediately for help or a referral to a psychiatrist.
